REL are considered in the industry to be some of the finest, most natural and musical sounding sub-woofers on the market. They specialise in only sub woofers and have taken a thoughtful approach to producing deep bass with plenty of slam and a fast, natural decay. REL develop their own specialist light weight drivers that are low distortion and can start stop very quickly and require lower power to do this. All REL crossovers are custom and involve minimal time delay. Most REL models have not only the normal LFE connection - but also a reference REL high level input which connect to the speaker outputs on any amplifier including 2 channel HiFi models without sub outs.
