In 2022, celebrating 60 years in existence, audio technica released the stunning AT-LP2022 transparent turntable.

Last weekend we had a blast with a blast from the past - a Rega Planar 3 (in glorious green) in for a cartridge upgrade (Ortofon 2MR Bronze). We thought we would go a little deeper into the typical process we adopt at the store regarding cartridge fitting and calibrating.

Another Linn Lingo 4 upgrade this week. This Majik LP12 turntable has a stunning walnut fluted plinth. Primary replacements that occur during a Lingo upgrade are switch and motor, internal control board plus external power supply. This was a turntable we previously put together for our clients, so we decided to use the new Fozgometer v2 to confirm if azimuth and offset settings for the cart were optimised (we have previously done this by VERY experienced eye and ear). We are happy to report that the original setup is spot on and no changes were necessary. Channel balance was within 0.5dB (Linn spec a 1dB variance). Pretty chuffed!

A boring picture of a cardboard box you might think, but what's inside is very special indeed! We have just received our single pair, limited edition, individually-numbered Sonus faber Concertino G4 standmount speakers (and their matching stands). Our pair is number 135 of 300.
