LINN

Linn was founded in 1973 by Ivor Tiefenbrun in Glasgow, Scotland, to manufacture high-fidelity audio equipment, most famously their LP12 turntable. Ivor believed that he could vastly improve the sound quality of his music system at home, using precision-engineering and determined experimentation.

The Linn LP12 is the longest-running hifi product in history that is still in production, having been released in 1973 and remaining a benchmark for others. Fully modular from conception, old units can be upgraded to current spcifications should the owner choose to.
