The Zephyr MIMC utilises a Fixed Coil design to ensure that stereo seperation, frequency response and detail are all exceptional and easily compete with other brands high end MC designs. The MIMC requires a phono pre-amp that can handle MC settings for gain and a reccomended impedance loading of at least 470 ohms - the laser drilled sapphire cantilever has a nude mounted special line contact stylus realising a specified frequency response of 15Hz - 45kHz +/- 2.0 db !

We have found that the character of this cartridge is musical, fast and detailed - it seems to have a very wide dynamic range which helps detail come to the fore without moving away from that analogue sound that we all love.
