Parasound Halo Hint 6 Integrated Amplifier w/DAC
The 'Halo' range by Parasound is their crowning achievement. The Halo Hint6 is a powerful integrated Hifi amplifier with built in HiRes DAC and MM/MC phono stage. The Hint6 features a John Curl designed power amplifier topology with a built in DAC/Pre-Amplifier featuring a wide array of both analogue and digital inputs to help make the powerful Hint6 the centre of a great Hifi system.
The Parasound Hint6 integrated amplifier specifies output of over 160w into regular 8 ohm loads and over 250w into 4 Ohms. We have found that this fully featured amp delivers fantastic bass depth, control and slam coupled to a clear, incisive midrange that has plenty of detail and air. The built in Sabre Pro DAC is capable of high resolution audio decoding that has a wide open soundstage. We recommend the Hint6 for any system that needs control and power.
